What is a Chinook Building Inspection?

Chinook Building Inspections takes an in-depth, unbiased  look at the subject
property to  (1) Visually evaluate the physical condition of the structure, construction
and mechanical systems   (2) Identify items that need to be repaired or replaced
(3) Estimate the remaining useful life of the major systems, equipment and structures
(4) Provide information needed to make an informed decision

What is included in your inspection?

Chinook  Building  Inspections, LLC  will thoroughly inspect your home or property
and perform a walk through to answer any questions you may have about the
inspection. You will receive a complete, comprehensive and objective report on the
condition, serviceability and safety of the property.  Structural Pest Inspections are
included.  A professional computer generated report is provided at the completion of
the inspection.  Photos are included of the property and  issues for attention not easily
observed during the inspection or walk through.

How long does an inspection take?

An average inspection will take approximately three hours depending on size, age and
condition of the property.

Should we be present for the inspection?

We recommend being present for the inspection to increase your understanding of the
property, inspection and report.  The review of the report and inspection at the
completion of the inspection is valuable to explain any questions you may have
regarding the property or inspection report.

How can I be an informed buyer?

It is your responsibility to be an informed  buyer.  You have the right to carefully
examine  your  potential  new  home or  property with a qualified Inspector.   A
Chinook Building Inspection will give you detailed, objective information about the
overall condition of the home or property you plan to purchase. The inspection may
be arranged before or after signing the contract, as long as, the contract states "the
sale of the property is contingent on passing the Inspection".
